Default Re: FWD TT cars.. how many are there now?

acidbath, first off, beautiful car man!

Secondly, Jeremy speaks the truth, I started seriously reading and buying parts last December. The main reason I have not done my conversion yet is I'm still buying parts. The more research I do the more I find out what I need to do this safely and reliable.

I also have a good friend helping me on this that has been bugging me to hurry it up. Why? he knows what he is doing and knows a lot about forced induction, me on the other hand, I'm still learning and I do not just want my friend to build me my car, I want to do it with him assiting me. Because she is my car, and I need to know how it all works.

The bare bone basic parts needed to TT your car can be had for around $1,300, but after you really start thinking about it you will end up with closer to $2,000 in parts.

There are some great threads on this board and some awesome people that will help you out along the way. My best recommendation, read, read, and read some more.

My time table has been pushed forward due to my clutch going out so I'm doing my TT conversion a bit earlier than I was planning, my only hope is that I have read enough.

Good luck, and great looking car.

-John
