Default ATX Tranny Fluid Cooler Install Step-By-Step

I just finished my auto tranny fluid cooler install and I took some pics. I had trouble finding info on the install, so I hope this helps someone.

1. Follow the instructions included with your cooler to it set up.

2. Locate the stock cooler feed line...

...and remove it. Keep the stock line, you may need it.

3. Connect the supplied line to the cooler. The line include with my cooler wasn't long enough, so I also used the stock line.

4. Run the lines around the a/c condensor...

...and fit the cooler into the bumper. This was the hardest part of the install, because the cooler was bigger than the bumper opening.

5. Connect one feed line on the cooler to the transmission...

and the other feed line on the cooler to the stock cooler.

6. Follow the coolers instructions to secure the cooler. Make sure all of your hose clamps are tight. Add 1/2 qt. of tranny fluid...

...and you're done...
