Okay so after driving the car around for a bit tonight I have concluded that the transmission this guy found for my car is a piece of shit. It's slipping really bad going into first, downshifting really hard at random times, and making a grinding/squealing sound when I accelerate. Now I have to bring the car back in and go through all this crap again.Now I'm most likely going to have to buy a brand new transmission because I no longer trust this mechanic to find a decent used one!
