I have a 97 VR-4 with 32K miles on it that was inspeted by the dealer before I got it. The dealer reported that the transfer case was seeping. It has an issue with 2nd gear grinding under high RPM's. I was looking into getting it fixed, but sounds like this should be addressed with the recall.

The recall should fix the transmission gear problem, if the TC is replace correct?
