Default Re: Chicago Crew Thread #2

I'm sorry, I was thinking HP and then typed torque.
I was figuring 800HP would equate to about 600 ft/lbs at the wheels. And I have no problem with spraying... probably just on the bottom to get the snail spooled.

I know there's a thermal transfer issue with the longer exhaust runners but the intake side will be shorter. Also, a single can move CFM more efficiently than the twins. I also like the versatility and ease of access to a single. You don't like the exhaust A/R? In 10 minutes the turbo is out of the car... how long to remove both front and rear turbos... 5 hours if you're reeeeally good? And everybody bitches about the lag on singles... well that's because most people that use them pick a BIG ASS TURBO. If you're gonna do it... do it big, right? My point is you could choose a quick spooling single just as easily... but if you're going to do that, just stick with a TD04 based system. I dunno, I've gotten into this discussion many times now. I figured I'd bounce it off you guys though.

... or I could just say f*ck it and have a child instead. But I figure that would be a helluva lot more expensive.
