Do you have any notes or procedures for break in? I thought I was supposed to let the engine idle for 5 mins first then change the oil immediately etc and then start to break it in etc.

Here's a good thread we had with lots of discussion: engine breakin

There are basically two schools of thought on the subject. One says to really baby it for a few thousand miles. The other is to get the engine warm, and then get load on the rings (WOT pulls and engine braking) as soon as possible to seat the rings. You'll have to do some reading and decide which you find more convincing.
