I didn't read all of this so to those of you who said it won't fit. I call BULLSHIT. I had a small baby when I bought my car. Car seats front or rear facing should be in the center of the rear seat. In other words on the hump. This provides the best protection if you have a side impact. It also allows part of the seat to fit between the two front seats. It will work. I NEVER had a problem going from rear facing to front facing to him out of the seat and old enough to sit in the front seat. I will say it is a PITA if you have to use one seat between two cars.Once you get it in and can leave it in it's OK.If you are trying to put two baby seats in the back of the car then it may be a problem. You may be able to install the rear facing in the center and a front facing behind the pass side if the set is all the way forward.
Good luck. Kids love 3s cars. My on just says Faster Faster.
