Well, without trying to sound like an advertisement:
I was using the standard maf-t with LS1 MAS previously. It had already been discussed that I would get one of the T-Pro's when they were ready for beta testing when I got the standard maf-t. There was only a projected time frame of about 6 months at the time (if I'm remembering things right), so I never really worked on fine-tuning the maf-t. Before the maf-t, I was running horribly rich, which is oddly quite common on tt conversions. On WOT pulls it wasn't uncommon for me to see 1.05V on the NB's. Using just base adjustments, I was able to get my fuel in better shape, but I never went that extra mile to tune in via rpm, so it was still rough. Fast forward to the T-Pro. By this time I was much better at reading data logs, and had a much better understanding of how our fuel systems worked (I did my research since I was going to be playing with new tech and didn't really have a knowledge base to fall back on except for the resident mad scientist, who borders Icon for an Era status to me). I took a rough tune and translated it into a very fine tune (well, as fine as I can go with narrowband. I plan to go WB within the next month or two). The amount of power that is trapped in a tune is amazing to say the least. I don't have hard factual knowledge, but to say I was able to net a solid 20whp or more just from reigning in my poor fuel curves, I feel, wouldn't be too far fetched. This is going from the LS1 to MAP, and I would like to think I had pulled at least the same going from stock to the LS1.
Lustful: GOOD tires and a sloppy tune will make traction a breeze. I spent $1k on rubber for this car, since traction is a premium. I was also mostly just running 6psi, as I don't really have a "want" to run high boost all the time.
