Anyone else using the GM boost solenoid too? Here's what I've done so far.
My solenoid is connected so that it interrupts the airflow between the turbocharger's output and the wastegate (just like we typically do with other electronic boost controllers).
If you look at my Boost WG Base Duty map, you'll see that I have 84.4% duty cycle for zero psi and under. Frankly, it doesn't matter what you put here, as the wastegate won't move at vacuum pressure. 84.4% keeps the GM solenoid quiet, and is what GM/AEM recommends as maximum duty cycle. However, one of the AEM engineers uses his at 100% with no ill effects. Therefore, I keep my solenoid 100% closed for 0-10.1psi for maximum spoolup. All pressure between 12-18psi uses a roughly dialed in duty cycle; this area needs a little more work. And for safety, 20+ psi has minimum duty cycle in case my fuel cut load @ 18.5 psi doesn't work.
