Inj duty cycle question.
100% means injector open all the time ...or it open 100% every second revolution of the crank?
AEM setup = 6000 RPM, max load fuel map value 250 , mSecbit 40.
Now calculating.
6000rpm = 100 rev/sec, 4cycle engine, - 50 firing cycles/sec or 50 fuel injection cycle per second. 1s/50 = 0.02sec max fuel inj time
now AEM, fuel value * mSecbig = 250*.000040 = 0.01
so ,AEMsays i can only open inj for 0.01sec but actual window is 0.02s(two crank rev).
Does that mean that injection occurs only during every second crack rev? so it is possible to override the duty to 110% and 200%.
Why can't i run them at 100-110% ?????
