I'm gonna stop by the Home Despot tonight and pick up two traps. Tomorrow morning, I will search for a bolt action .22 cal. I had no idea the noise would be less than a semi-auto...the stuff you learn.

yup think about it this way the semi is chambering a new roundl as soon as the old round has left teh barrel... its opening the firing chamber... now as far as how quiet the one you get might be different from how quiet the one i have is... the one i have is damn quiet, and my friends is noisy as hell and his is semi, mine is bolt action... they have em at walmart but they are around 150$ new... i would sugest going to your local gun store (GAT guns or Bass Proshops or Cabellas) and see what they have to offer in the way of USED .22 bolt action... also the lever action ones will work the same way... and they look cool too!

.... also make sure you search for subsonic rounds.. they are a little harder to come by but im sure you can order them online if you have your FOI card...
