Actually Analod device making termocouple conditioner chip AD597 which directly connects to termocouple, will work with 13v directly for upto 1000C and will provide linear output and it is cheap too. EGT K type sensors are pretty cheap, you can probably buy lot of 4 on ebay for 60$.
My AEM is on its way and that would be a good time to experiment with EGT on stock engine setup.
I just wasnot sure if AEM allows to select other ports to use as EGT input.
