Just bring it do the dealership. You don´t need a number. They absolutely have to check it anyway, and they further need to check if the car has had the recall done already so don´t worry about the number. But you do need to insist on a new TC and not a fix. Tell them that you hear whirling and grinding sounds and make it sound bad.
