Help!
I was told three months ago that 1st, 2nd, & 3rd are about to go. My tranny is making a nice whining noise right now. I just had my '99 VR4 in on Tuesday for another reason, and they told me that my transfer case was leaking. They said there was nothing they could do since it was an "Aftermarket" TC. Is there such a thing, or are they just trying to get out cheap? If so, how can I tell if it really is aftermarket? I find it hard to believe a car with 63k already has had to have it replaced.
