Re: AEM Ultimate Resource Thread>>>>
I run an aem ems, aem 3.5 bar map and temp and dual W02s
I think for the most part if you have any clue how to tune a car, the aem is a snap. My one word of advice to anyone considering going AEM, is to get some wide band O2s.
I found the car ran mostly like ass before going to speed density. But I didn't spend a lot of time tuning it with the factory MAS. Once I went to MAP, a rough tune starting with the supplied base map and adding a boost map got me up and running very quickly.
Overall the wiring required for the aem/map setup is next to nothing. all the wires you need are already in the engine bay, except for one iirc. wiring up the WO2 controller couldn't have been much easier either.
I'm not sure why so many people spend so much on piggy back systems to get half the capability. Not that there haven't been fast cars with piggy back setups, but in the end the AEM is cheaper and more capable imho.
