That's the start of a 3S AEM FAQ that I worked on a bit in December. I've just about got my car back on the road after a tranny failure, so I will be tuning on the AEM again hopefully within the next month.

I've tuned several 3S cars with the AEM and have had good success with all of them. Moreso on my own, since I've spent more time with it. In the FAQ there's info on how to set up a quick boost compensation map from the basemaps that AEM provides. There are some newer tricks than what's in the FAQ, but my car is essentially tuned with exactly what's in the FAQ and it runs great.

I don't think there's anything that should hold a serious tuner back from getting an AEM at this point. The growing pains seem to be over and the software is very stable now. There is a pretty good group of 3/S people on the AEM Forums that answer questions (myself included).
