aerOvr-4gto3k - Blocker ring is one of many names for the same part. Yes they are the same thing. First and second gear accually have three synchro rings. An outer metal ring, middle friction ring (made of brass/bronze?), and an inner metal ring. The dog teeth that are worn will have to be replaced with the whole gear as an assembly. Nine times out of ten I have found the mating teeth on the synchronizer slider collar are also worn and also need to be replaced. Not much sense in replaceing one and not the other. The bad set of teeth will just wear out the good set.
