That's where it normally leaks. What they'll do most likely instead of installing a brand new t-case is install a C-ring, it's like a gasket or clamp that is suppose to take care of that seam leak. If you are lucky, you get a new t-case.
Just because the recall was performed on your car doesn't mean they did anything. If at 1st the car was taken in for the initial recall, and they determined there was no leaking. That car will be marked off as having been serviced for the recall notice. It's kind of tricky. I mean, do you risk waiting for something to happen, then take it in, or not.
You know how stingy the dealerships are.
