Yesterday I ordered ALL the bearings (holy crap they aren't cheap) the 1/2 inner and outer blocking rings and syncros, 3-6 blocking rings (syncros), the 1/2 shift fork, 1/2 syncro hub and sleeve, and output shaft seal for the low low cost of $1150

Fortunatly they had everything in stock, though
Apparently I broke the 1/2 shift fork in half and the half that broke off ate itself and ruined all the bearings. Guess that's why i had a hard shifting into 3rd at the track this year. All the blocking rings were baby smooth and the 1/2 syncro hub and sleeved came out in several pieces. My stepdad and rebuilder think that I wasn't the only driving the shit out of this thing. Guess that's why it refused to go into 1st even when I bought the thing. They also seem to think the GM Syncromesh is too thin and that exacerbated wear instead of warding it off.
