Ok, I'm a "noob" as Fury put it and this will be my first ever post...I am from Dallas Texas and hear the Stealth and 3000GT scene there is pretty awesome and would love to be involved. I also saw a post earlier about there only being one active female in the midwestern region...I would at least like to be the second!!...lol...I was first introduced to this community by my very good friend UTRacerX9. As a matter of fact, he's the one that got me interested in Stealth's in the first place. I think the Stealth is a magnificent and beautiful automobile and I want to know everything I possibly can about it, especially before purchasing one. I really do appreciate what you guys are doing for us noobs by providing all this wonderful info. The more info we have, the more Stealth's will be preserved rather than ruined by uninformed noobs...lol. Now, I know the first thing any guy thinks when he finds out a female has or wants to get a sports car...it's absolute horror and you want to scream, "No! Don't do it!!!" at us, but this is what I found...and maybe you guys can help me...I happened upon a guy who said he has a 1991 Dodge Stealth for sale in my area...I am currently living in Utah...Now, I went out to look at it, but it was at night and I couldn't see much...but what I saw was a perfect body, paint and interior...It's a Pearl White 1991 Turbo with the red interior...I couldn't see the miles...he said it had only been sitting for a year...I looked under the hood...not too shabby for sitting a year but things need to be polished and cleaned...he said he parked it a year ago b/c the power steering went out...is that really bad or expensive to fix? I mean, the car is far, far, far from being junk...He's asking 3,000...so, please, gimme some feedback and maybe some more questions to ask the guy...is it a worthwhile purchase? I feel like the car needs to be saved from that idiot b/c he's never going to fix it...and before it sits and sits beyond repair, it needs to be restored...lol...thanks for any feedback! Please help!
