Just wanted to say that I skimmed over the first page of this thread, followed the directions, and assembled a valve spring compressor... It was a success. It's kind of a pain to use, but it's not bad at all! Don't expect to be able to do all 24 valve stem seals alone. Chances are, you'll want someone to compress the springs for you while you insert/remove the keepers.
