I believe I've found what that is. Tell me if it looks like either of the picture I've posted here. This part makes the most sense from the phrase "Power TR Unit" from what I see in CAPS and in the CHASSIS service manual as well as it makes sense that this could cause sputtering.
So I'm betting that "Power TR Unit" = "ignition power transistor"
I just saw MrT0MJONES reply, but see if I am right/wrong by looking at the pictures I've posted. 14931 in the CAPS diagram is the part I'm referring to.
