well before the surgery I could make out that there was a person there, but no way in hell could I recognize someone....same thing with buildings. Think of it as looking through a camera that is SEVERELY out of focus.....

Thanks Jeff, I was hoping it wouldn't be. You are correct, in most cases they cannot correct past 8, but luckily I had more than enough tissue for them to be able to. And from what I'm told, we'll have to wait about a week to fully heal, but I should be able to drive tomorrow, and by monday at the latest. I would've been able to drive today if the lasik machine hadn't fucked up....because now I have one eye that is fairly well healed and one that isn't since one eye was done thursday and one was done yesterday...hehehe so it's wierd.....tomorrow should be better!
