Default Saturated to Peak Hold Injector Conversion

As many know, and some may not, NAs have what 80%+ cars have which is Saturated high resistance injectors. TTs come with Peak Hold low resistance injectors as do amny turbo cars.

Saturated Injectors are lower performance. You will get faster more accurate Fuel injection using Peak Hold injectors. So when doing a TT or Single T conversion you should change the system over to Low impedence Peak Hold.

Don't know how many have done this or if any threads/FAQs have been done but I started mine blindly tonight taking pictures and all. I will have a good write up with pics tomorrow. Once I dug through everything and consulted the shop manual a few times for wiring schematics it was pretty simple.

You will need a TT resistor box. It helps if you have the harness with some lenght on it also but you can always just extend the wires.

I also converted the 4 wire on one plug rear injector harness to a full 6 wire by chopping off a male and female plug with some wire lenght from a donor harness. This way the rear will have 6 independant wires just like the fronts. And I wired the 4 wire stock NA plug to two injectors and the added 2 wire plug to the last injector. This will also give me the Plug in option instead of a hard wired sytem. It will be more stock like.

And remember:
Saturated Injectors can be used in Peak Hold systems, but not the other way around. So if you want to use the better injector you must do this conversion.
