Bad IAC Stepper motor can make it go haywire also. What are youe ICS steps on the logger? THey should start high cold then settle to under 20 and in the teens when fully warm, unless you click on the AC or turn the wheels all teh way wich trips the PS up idle switch.

Hm. There's not many 3/S TTs in the area. There's 92VR4NY which I won't touch (no offense Mike) and Anubis's 92 RT/TT. Oh, AllEyezOnMyVR-4 (Frank) but his car is gone for weeks while being painted. Does it matter what year? Same for ECU?
ICS? I don't have that option on my OBDII datalogger I don't think.
