I have an SL. I don't go out to Schaumburg too much but I was out there a couple weeks ago hitting up the "parking lot car shows".

It's wierd, I know you don't usually start noticing the cars until you own or are looking for them, but I keep seeing more and more. I was driving to work in Palatine and I saw a red 95 3kgt SL identical to mine, it had an older gentleman driving it. We both gave the nod and a little chuckle.

I live right across the street from Jewel in Cary. Where in FRG do you work? I drive through it everyday, kind of hard not to. What color's your SVT I usually spot them because my buddy's a pretty big ford enthusiast. Also, I've seen another 3kgt around the area, I think he might live in Cary, it's a blue 2nd gen I think.

I didn't know Great Lakes was having an "Import Wars", I will probably go check it out. I don't think I will run my car, wouldn't really be worth it to get laughed off the strip for running 17s with my stock auto SL, but maybe I will just for shits to see how much it improves after building it up a little.

I guess I'll take a moment to explain why I have an auto before I get flamed. I was in a car accident and my knee is kind of messed up, so I can't really handle jamming my left leg up and down constantly. Which really sucks because when I was looking around for 3000gt's I saw a few VR4's in good shape in the area for right around the same price. That's ok though, aside from the scratch on the front bumper from the previous owner it's pretty mint, not even at 60k miles yet!
