Default Re: Getrag 440/446 parts.

Theo_VR4 - That looks just like my broken 1/2 fork. If only the clutch wasn't draging my poor fork wouldn't have broken on me. Oh well. I needed an excuss to work on my car.

If you break a fork then you loose both gears. First AND second, third AND fourth, you get the idea. You may still be able to put the shifter into that spot but you won't have those gears. I was surprised the pieces of my fork didn't get cought up in my gears and take some thing out with them. I really dodged a bullet on that one. Last I heard neither CRS nor Kormex had any forks. Never hurts to check up on them though.

RobBeck - If you do end up needing a fork let me know. I have a buddy who is parting out an 18 spline transaxle.
