Default Re: 1st gen. knock alert???

Ok well for another time I went back over all major connections except a few hard to reach ones and made perfectly sure they were not leaking or anything. I will check the other few shortly. So far no beeeeeep anymore. Also went ahead and turned my boost down now to 12 psi. I'm just going to leave it there until I can datalog in a week or so to see if I knock at all. I do know I hit 15 psi and held it until i got up in the rpm's with stock 93 octane fuel setup. Just had plugs and wires put on though. No blowout or fuel cut, but until I monitor for knock I will keep it daily driven at 12 psi. Vaccum is a little different than most peoples I think b/c at idle my car is at 14 on the vaccum side. However after reving slightly and letting off it will jump shortly to 18 then back to 14. Is this ok? Another thing is my boost gauge always reads 1.5 psi when off. Is this ok or could it be malfunctioning? It works great but that just seemed odd to me. Hopefully someone can reassure me on theses things. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
