Re: 1st gen. knock alert???
Still no solution yet. I tried resetting the ecu and went back over all vaccum lines. What line exactly is for the clutch and brake booster? I don't think I messed with those. This is exactly what I did: First tapped into y pipe for boost controller. Then I put a t on the other side of mbc and ran equal length hoses to the wastegate actuator nipples. The front turbo wastegate had a short hose that fed to another nipple right near it. I did away with that line and plugged the nipple the actuator fed into. On the rear side I plugged two things. One was a nipple that use to have a white striped vaccum hose and the other was just a nipple down in there that came off the old h connector as well. Also made sure the lines to the wastegates were equal length. This totally bypassed the boost solenoid which was unplugged. For the gauge I simply tapped into nipple behind throttle body with a t and ran one side to old spot beside throttle body and the other to the gauge. Is this right? I know the setup is right but did I plug up something I should'nt have? Well anyways sorry for the long post but I just don't know what the beep could be if I did this right. Next things will be unhook boost gauge to see if it still does it, hook up a friend's datalogger, and recheck all vaccum/boost connections for leaks.
