I dont know if its the fact that im a NYer, but whats the bottom line?

If CRS & KORMEX doesnt wanna supply us with parts then what are we to do? Sure there is a market for this stuff, but its been my experience that alot of people on 3SI dont appreciate the value of the vendor/retailer. As soon as someone makes a part / mod for our cars what happens; ill tell you:

1. Consumers on the board dont wanna pay a fair price, but rather start a group buy.

2. Then theres others that want to know the chemical composition and want copies of engineering schematics.

3. Or just haggle the retailer/tuner/vendor into submission.

This is the problem I think. Me personally I dont mind paying a fair price or maybe a lil more for a hard to find part. But shops dont want to support our cars because theres just not enough of our cars to make a decent profit. The problem is that the ratio of passionate owners to cheap morons is to great. Vendors / shops / tuners have to make a living.

I think what we need to focus on here is how are we going to get these parts now as opposed to who will start a business. I have a relative in Japan that is into the import scene (domestic scene for him i guess) its a long shot but ill try to get a hold of him and see what he could do. Im sure we're gonna have to pay top dollar for parts and a lil extra for his trouble....when these parts should be readily available from mitsubishi, but what else are we to do?
