I've seen some Timken bearings on my car. I think it was the rear diff. I swear I had seen a few on my trans. In any case, I'm pretty sure Frank Martin said that you could use any high-quality generic metric bearing as a replacement. I'll email him and see what he says. Getrag would have almost had to use off the shelf parts to keep costs down.
