Damn! Good job Dave57. 8 hours to install huh? I think I've clocked upwards of 20 hours (had all the parts since July) and still can't get any power to the system. I think I'll have to try your tips that you posted though...

Have any other tips on getting power to the system? I thought I had everything hooked up the 5 times I tried but no power ever got to the system/display. Once again great job completing this conversion and thanks for the helpful hints and pics!
