With 360's and a hotwired walboro I can only run between 9 and 12 psi dependant on ambient temperature without knock (8:1 pistons in a N/A engine).

I'm sure I could push it higher and be fine but it is more than fast enough at 9 psi with 13g's.

91 octane is the highest available here. Are people really able to run more than 12 psi on the stock injectors and crap gas ?
12psi on 91 octane is about as high as you'd want to go. You really should upgrade your injectors though. It may be the cause of your knock. If you use a datalogger, you can find out whether your injectors are maxed out, I'm guessing that they are.

Isn't the elevation fairly high where you live? That probably affects things somehow as well. I have friends where I live that drive around everyday with their boost at 15 on 93 octane.. I believe that they turn it down to 12-13 when they only can get 91 octane.
