DR500 are capable of ~430whp maybe more with supporting mods. IPO has had good results with the cast crank if I remember correctly. These engine can plenty, it is all about the tuning. I bet you can not name one person that has blown up there engine from just the solo reason being too much power. It always something else, oil pressure, heat issuses, tuning and so on.
